CAR T-cell therapy

CAR T-cell therapy

In chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, T cells from patients are genetically modified and then infused back into the patient. These CAR T cells kill cancer cells that express a specific cell antigen. Certain CAR T-cell therapies are approved for some patients with relapsed ALL, and several are in development.
